Symbols used for describing the chemical resistance

+ : Very Resistant. Only slight changes to weight, dimensions, and properties. According to current knowledge, the medium causes no irreversible damage to the pipe. O : Limited Resistance. Noticeable change in properties. Prolonged exposure to the medium may cause irreversible damage to the pipe.

– : Not Resistant. Medium attacks pipe and/or causes environmental stress causing the pipe to crack within a short time. Irreversible change.

S : Plastic dissolved by the chemical.
